Students of Purdue University’s Observing Tornadic Thunderstorms for Research (SPOTTR) Severe Storms Field Work class took a break from storm chasing to tour some state of the art weather forecasting and technology centers in Norman, Oklahoma. 

First stop was the National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma (above) and then the Advanced Radar Research Center (ARRC) at the University of Oklahoma (below.)
